My professional background:
I am a social worker and ally that has developed and facilitated training to 100s of people on sensitive topics, worked alongside people in some of their most challenging and joyful moments, volunteered to teach kindergarten children about empathy, adults how to read, and support the start of a local hospice organization.
Loves of mine include people, furry companions, books, warm olives, paper cranes, my dream of being a farmer, birds, clouds, inclusion, singing loudly, 'dancing it out', deep breaths, silence, gazing at art, devouring thalis, showing up for people, baking sourdough pizza and bread, listening deeply, and sharing food.
